1. Our services

We provide residential and commercial moving, professional packing, furniture and heavy-item moving, junk removal and hauling, full property cleanouts, and donation pickups. All services are subject to availability and our scheduling policies.

Quotes are estimates based on the information you provide. Your final price may change if the scope of the job differs from what was described, for example additional items, extra stairs or carry distance, or access restrictions at either location.

For junk removal and cleanouts, you confirm that you own, or have the authority to dispose of, every item you ask us to remove. We do not haul hazardous materials, including chemicals, paint, fuel, asbestos, medical waste, or other items restricted by state or local law.

2. SMS / text messaging program

We use SMS messaging to keep you informed and improve your experience with Ballard’s Moving & Junk.

By opting in, you consent to receive text messages from us, including:

• Quote follow-ups and responses to your inquiries
• Job confirmations and reminders
• Scheduling updates, crew arrival notices, or rescheduling notices
• Promotional offers and seasonal specials related to our moving and junk removal services
• Occasional review or feedback requests about a completed job

Message frequency varies, typically 1–6 messages per month depending on your job and our promotions.

We take great care with every job, but we are not responsible for pre-existing damage, normal wear, items packed by the customer that are damaged due to improper packing, or the internal function of electronics and appliances that are not visibly damaged. Any claim for loss or damage must be reported to us promptly after the job is completed.

Our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service in question, unless a different coverage or valuation option was agreed in writing at booking or is required by applicable law. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
